What is small, green, costs less than $100 and eats Cat’s Claw Creeper? - Qld Landcare Conferenc Field Trip Posted on August 11th
Answer: Burnett Catchment Care Association BCCA’s Cat’s Claw Creeper Biocontrol release site.
BCCA will be hosting 2 field trips for the 2008 Queensland Landcare Conference. One is called “Sip ‘n’ Sap”, the other “Beef, Bunyips & Bonnie Doon”. “Sip ‘n’ Sap” will include a visit to a Cats Claw Creeper (Macfadyena unguis-cati) biocontrol release site in the Monto area.
Delegates on this field trip will also hear about improving biodiversity through Private Native Forestry, Creeping Lantana (Lantana montevidensis) trials using compost tea, and then sample wine from the North Burnett’s most famous winery Waratah Winery (which might be a nice lead into the gala dinner, later on that evening).
Book now and tick “Sip ‘n’ Sap” on your rego from to be part of this fantastic field trip.
