Qld Landcare Conference

Landcare Monto are committed to sharing their vision of sustainability with the younger generation. Over the years the group has had a proud involvement with local schools, junior landcare, and a range of other activities involving youth. Imagine how pleased the group were when they had an opportunity to be involved in a kids environmental expo? Landcare members assisted NRM organisations from the region such as BINLGAC, BMRG, BCCA, Monto Minerals, Qld Parks & Wildlife to deliver Monto Madness - Kids Environmental Expo. The event took place at the Monto Showgrounds in August 2007. Below is a short video about the event.
